Your Body. Your Baby. Your Birth.

Labor and Delivery Prep

Preparing your body and MIND for  what to expect during labor and delivery

We all have  expectations for what we hope our births will look like!  So we plan for your dream birth, as well what could happen! This will prepare you for both a vaginal, planned or unplanned cesarean!

Not your standard hospital birth prep, which is helpful in its own way, but doesn't teach you the practical information to use to help you prepare your body for labor and delivery.

I take you through a 1:1 session to help you minimize risk of perineal tearing, the correct ways to push to help maintain the integrity of your pelvic floor, and a variety of options for positions for delivery.

Not only that, but we go over exercises for you to do in both your 2nd and 3rd trimesters to prepare not only your pelvic floor, but your entire body for the marathon that is labor!

Plus we chat possible postpartum complications so you know what to do look for and when to seek help, and how to safely recover in those first few days/nights at the hospital and home.

4th Trimester

Specific to YOUR birth

Your 4th trimester is the 12 weeks immediately proceeding your delivery; this time is important for rest and healing. The best way to do that is to learn how to safely manage your core and pelvic floor during those first 3 months, whether you brought you baby into the world via vaginal or cesarean delivery.

Every birth is different, and every mama has different concerns after her labor and delivery experience. This is often a scary time of unknowns, and getting a virtual session in once you are home and settled to go over all of your questions and concerns helps make this transition a whole lot easier!

We cover specific techniques to help improve your healing, and maintain the integrity of your pelvic floor. The goal is to help minimize the risk of future complications such as bladder leaks, pain with intimacy and diastasis recti (abdominal separation).

This session will also cover timelines for return to exercise, as well as how and when to return to intercourse.
